A delicious homemade breakfast is included in the room rate. Breakfast is served in the Dining Room at 9:00AM daily. If you are unable to join us, a Breakfast-to-Go will be happily provided with 24-hours notice. A Deluxe Continental breakfast will be served on select holidays (i.e. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter) and special events. For guests staying in the Sandstone Suite, breakfast will be provided in the privacy of your suite and features homemade baked goods, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc.
5 Corners Bed & Breakfast uses a self check-in system so you may arrive at your leisure. You are welcome to check-in anytime after 3:00PM. If you would prefer to have a staff member greet you, please let us know.
For the main house, a two-night minumum is required for Friday and Saturday nights April through October. Single night stays are welcome Sunday-Thursday evenings year round. A two-night minumum is also in effect during select holidays and events (Christmas Eve, Christmas, Thanksgiving weekend, July 4 weekend and Dancing on Main Street). See below for our policy regarding select Oberlin College events. A two-night minimum stay is required to reserve the Sandstone Suite.
Private, off street parking is included with room rate.
Smoking is permitted on the back patio.
The room rate is double occupancy. Additional guests are $25 per person and includes breakfast, linens and the use of an air mattress when available. Children over the age of 6 are welcome in the main house or when multiple rooms are reserved by the same party. Children of all ages are welcome to stay in the Sandstone Suite. Please note: the inn, as well as the Sandstone Suite, are not child-proofed (plug covers, stairs, sharp corners, etc). Please call for more information.
The staff of 5 Corners works very hard to keep our room rates affordable. With this in mind, 5 Corners reserves the right to charge for any items that must be replaced or repaired due to extreme neglect during your stay.
Visa, Mastercard and Discover reservations confirm immediately. Customers wishing to make a 50% deposit by check are welcome to do so if the reservation is at least one month in advance. All cancellations and reservation date changes may be subject to a $25 charge. Due to the limited number of rooms, cancellations of all reservations must be made 8 days (1 month for holidays, special events and whole house reservations) in advance of the scheduled arrival date or a 50% penalty will apply. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged for their entire stay. If your room is rebooked for the same dates as the originally scheduled reservation, your stay will be refunded less a $25.00 charge. Guests are responsible for all nights reserved regardless of actual arrival or departure date.
For Sandstone Suite reservations, guests may cancel up to 8 days in advance and receive a 50% refund. Beginning seven days in advance of the check-in date, guests are responsible for all nights reserved unless the room is rebooked.
Parents Weekend and Freshman Orientation: A two-night minimum stay is required for these events. Non-refundable pre-payments (by check or money order) are required:
Orientation - $100 deposit due within 14 days of reservation; balance due by July 15
Parents Weekend - $100 deposit due within 14 days of reservation; balance due by October 1
Cancellations for Parents Weekend and Freshmen Orientation made prior to the first payment date will be charged a $100 rebooking fee. If payments are not received by requested dates, your reservation will be given to another Oberlin College family.
Oberlin College Graduation: Reservations are accepted for Graduation beginning at 12:00pm on June 1 of the prior year (i.e. reservations for May 2016 will be accepted beginning June 1, 2015). A four-night minimum stay is required for Oberlin College Graduation and/or Memorial Day weekend. Non-refundable pre-payments (by check or money order) are required with 50% due within 14 days of reservation and the balance due by April 15.
Cancellations for these events made prior to the first payment date will be charged a $100 rebooking fee. If payments are not received by requested dates, your reservation will be given to another Oberlin College family.
