Lorain's historic lighthouse was built in 1917. The walls are more than 10 inches thick and baseboards and window frames are made of steel to withstand the powerful Lake Erie.
View the Lighthouse from the Mile Long Pier found alongside Jackalope restaurant or by boat. River cruises are scheduled by the Lorain Port Authority.
