The Avon Heritage Duct Tape Festival began nine years ago, when an independent committee of Avon citizens wanted to bring back a citywide festival. When they started to look for sponsors around the community, they visited with ShurTech Brands, the marketer of Duck Tape® brand duct tape. With some time and conversation, instead of just having a city festival, they decided to have a Duct Tape Festival!
Nine years later, the festival is hosted in the "Duct Tape Capital" of the world and home of Duck Tape® brand duct tape – Avon, Ohio. The celebration has traditional festival favorites, including rides, food, games, vendors and live entertainment, as well as duct tape flair and fun with a parade, crafts, exhibits and more!
